How Long Do Clip Ins Stay In?

Clip-in hair extensions are more popular than ever. Why wouldn't you want something that could instantly make your hair longer and fuller? Never mind that they are easy to put up and take down.

If you just bought clip-in hair extensions or are thinking about it, you'll probably love them so much that you'll want to wear them every day, day and night. In this blog, we'll talk about whether or not this is something you should do.

How Long Can You Keep Clip-in Hair Extensions In?

You can use your clip-in hair extensions whenever you want to make your hair longer or fuller. Will it keep you going for an 8-hour workday? Definitely! Can you bring them with you to dinner with your friends that night? Absolutely! Can you wear them to bed and not worry about putting them on again the next day? No, I'm afraid not. If you want your hair extensions to last and if you want to protect your own hair, you should always take them out before you work out or go to sleep.

How long do clip-in hair extensions last?

Hair extensions are an investment, especially if you buy premium Russian hair extensions, which are made with the best, 100% human hair. You want to know how long they will last, of course.

You should know right away that extensions made of synthetic hair won't last as long. Even though the price might be more appealing, it's likely that you'll have to replace them much sooner. And because the hair is fake, it tends to have a "shiny" look that makes it clear that it is not real.

Overall, clip-in extensions can last up to a year if you take good care of them. If you use it a lot and don't take care of it right, it won't last as long. People often forget that clip-in hair still needs extra care and attention, even though it's not your natural hair.

Most synthetic clip-in extensions don't last more than two to three months, especially if you wash, style, and wear them a lot.Let's be straight with each other from the start: cheaper extensions, whether they're made of real or fake hair, won't last as long as more expensive ones. Most of the time, that's what will happen when you buy something. You might get lucky and find cheap ones that last just as long, but in general, you should go for the best quality you can afford.

How Long Do Extensions Last?

My own clip-ins have held up for about a year, but don't get too excited just yet! Mine are fake and came from a website I don't remember. I didn't worry too much about the quality because they were cheap and it was my first time getting extensions. I've only used them a few times, so that's why they're still going strong. And during those few times, a lot of hair fell out. So I know for sure that if I used them every day for a long time, they wouldn't last more than 3 months.

So, even though they've been around for a long time, they're not the best quality and haven't been used much. Not a lot = not a lot of wear and tear. Now that I've told you what I know from my own experience, the first thing you need to know is that, whether you get fake or real hair, you'll need to replace it at some point. And, just like your real hair, how you care for them is important.
